As we begin the sacred journey of Great Lent, the faithful of our Holy Metropolis are invited to reflect on the spiritual guidance offered by His Eminence Metropolitan Apostolos of New Jersey.

His Eminence reminds us that Great Lent is a time of repentance, humility, prayer, and renewed commitment to Christ. It is a spiritual path that leads us toward the joy of the Resurrection and the hope found in the life of the Church.

The following reflections and encyclical have been issued for the beginning of Holy and Great Lent 2026 and are shared with the faithful for prayerful reading during this sacred season.
