Rise Up and Build
Nehemiah 2:18
In the spirit of Nehemiah’s call to “Rise up and build,” we are reminded that stewardship is not just about bricks and mortar. It is about rebuilding and renewing our faith. As Orthodox Christians, we are called to respond to God’s blessings with gratitude, prayer, and service.
Stewardship means offering our time, talents, and treasures for the glory of God and the good of others. It is a spiritual discipline, a response of love that builds up both the Church and the Body of Christ. Like Nehemiah, we are invited to act with faith, compassion, and perseverance, strengthening the walls of prayer, worship, generosity, and love in our parish and community.
“From Him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.”
Ephesians 4:16
In gratitude for God’s blessings, we ask each steward to prayerfully consider their annual commitment in support of our parish ministries and operations.
It takes approximately $3,000 per steward per year to fund our Cathedral’s daily ministries and maintain our facilities.
Every steward donating $3,000 or more annually will be recognized as a Stewardship Benefactor.
